Text= (1) Product Name: Jaguarwoman's "Scrolling Parchment Banners III", Product Copyright: Dana Sitarzewski aka Jaguarwoman, February 2008 (2) Author Name & Email Address: Dana Sitarzewski aka Jaguarwoman (3) Product Description: 10 digitally-painted scrolling parchment banners in large sizes, with a variety of textural and structural detail: some are soft and luminous, some have grungy tears and wrinkles and ancient stains. Each parchment is provded in an individual psd file, without drop shadow, on a transparent background, 300 dpi, suitable for print compositions. Two of the banners are provided with hue variations to demonstrate their versatility and instructions are provided in the reamd about how to use Layer Styles in Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to achieve interesting variations. (4) System Requirements: PC or MAC plus Photoshop, PaintShopPro or any graphics program that can open psd file format (5) Ownership Statement: All of the content in this package was created by Dana Sitarzewski aka Jaguarwoman, and may include derivatives of the following Vendor/Merchant resources: "Ultimate Ornaments", ClipartDesign.dom "Scrolls" Vector Clipart, Gomedia (6) Needed Files: No 3rd party files are needed for this product to function. (7) Installation Instructions: Unzip the zipfile using Winzip or Stuffit (if you are using a Mac), open your graphics program, navigate to the directory and folder into which you unzipped the zipfile, and open any of the psd and/or jpg files. (8) Usage Tips/Limitations: If you want to reduce the size to a specific width or height, use your "Sharpen" filter AFTER reducing it for best effect. These images reduce very nicely in dimension, but may require a bit of sharpening when reduced by 75% or more. If you would like to create some hue variations, there are many ways to do this. But I find the most value in using the Layer Effects Palette in either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, either or both the Color Overlay or the Gradient Overlay effect. I use about 50% opacity for either a plain color or a gradient. Most of my gradients I have created myself and you can do the same. Sometimes I combine several Color overlays and a gradient overlay. Then you can also adjust the Hue and Saturation Sliders as well as adjusting the Curve function and the Contrast.
