am not available to do custom work in either webdesign
or custom graphic design.
About a year ago, I realized that I was much better
off making a living by providing products than by
providing services. So I do not do custom work of
any kind. I only sell retail image resources.
This is solely a personal decision and no reflection
on anybody seeking custom design services. It is
a simple fact that it is more gratifying and profitable
to execute my own ideas and sell them many times
than to produce somebody else's ideas and get paid
for them once.
I'm sorry, I also cannot refer you to anybody else.
It seems that almost all my friends and colleagues
came to the same general conclusions about the same
time I did: it just doesn't pay off for small business
owners, or one-person studios, to do custom site
design or free lance custom graphics. But that's
all to the good, because many people with good skills
landed in other market niches some time back. Still,
I can't refer you to anybody with comparable skills
who is now doing the kind of work I used to do because
I don't know anybody like that who is available
now. I'm not witholding anything from you and I'm
not trying to confound you, I just don't know.
